This problem happens when i playback Spotify on my Windows PC, but does not happen if i play Spotify music through my Sonos system. If i did not have Sonos i would cancel my Spotify subscription because it is totally unacceptable to try listen to music with these continual skips/jumps happening every approx 30 seconds like a scratch on an LP record. Make games, stories and interactive art with Scratch. Recently, I've been noticing some problems. I'm running FL Studio on a 1TB 5400RPM HDD with 8GB of RAM and an Intel quad-core i7. And I'm running it through an M-Audio MobilePre sound card with Rokit RP8s. Yesterday or today, I noticed while I was working on some songs that it overloads. I don't know if that's the right term or not. Well, I would go in and tune the kick and hit play and the kick would just be overly distorted. Then, I have to stop and replay it. Then it goes back to normal. I'm not exactly sure what it is. It's kind of frustrating and really slowing my music production down. Any thoughts? I do have the 'safe overloads' checked if that makes a difference.
  • Sep 21, 2016 Repeating, stuttering and mangling effects can easily kick-start rhythmic experiments and grab attention. We explore how to turn simple percussion tracks into glitching grooves.
  • How to avoid crackles and audio dropouts. Live Versions: 8 - 10 Operating System: All If the CPU load is too high and audio can't be buffered within the chosen buffer rate, then this may result in crackles, dropouts (gaps in playback) or glitches during playback.

  • Scratch LIVE version 1.8 and previous versions have a known issue that can cause a deck to not play audio or show the main track waveform for certain types of track. In this particular case, the track overview and cues/loops are still loaded, and the deck still plays, just without the moving waveform or audio.

Also, I just added a new VST effect, Voxengo's SPAN. I went in and checked it so that it would show up in the mixer, but then I went to add an instrument into the step sequencer, only FL's instruments come up; none of my other VSTs. I had Sylenth1, reFX Nexus, TB Monomate, etc, etc in there, but after I added Voxengo's SPAN, none of them show up. I have Sylenth1 open now for my lead and if I click on it, it opens and works just fine. It seems like when I add a new effect or instrument into the program this happens. It happened to me the other day, too, and the only way that I can fix it is to restore my computer to a previous date. I shouldn't have to do that every time I add a new instrument/effect. I'm not sure if it's Image-Line's problem or my computer's. This just recently started happening.
ComputerAny help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
